BHP Mechanical Services is an in-house mechanical and electrical contractor with over thirty years' experience, designing, installing and maintaining building services for homes and businesses.

We began as an M&E installation company. As clients needed planned preventative maintenance, fault finding and reactive call-outs, we added a dedicated service and maintenance division, so the team that installs a system can look after it afterwards.

Mechanical and electrical work stays in house, delivered by our engineers, plumbers, supervisors and project managers. Where a project needs further professional services, we partner with reputable companies so you still have a single point of contact for a bespoke, one-stop solution.

That work covers mechanical services, air conditioning, electrical installation and communications: commercial pipework, gas, plumbing and heating, plant rooms, heating and cooling, ventilation and extraction, lighting, mains distribution, test and inspection, network cabling, audio visual, fire and security, access control and CCTV. We take on domestic and commercial new builds and retrofits, including offices, manufacturing, healthcare and public buildings.

Our plumbing and heating engineers are Gas Safe registered. We are an NICEIC and BAFE accredited company, Refcom Elite F-Gas certified, and FIA accredited for fire alarm systems. Air conditioning design and installation is supported by our Mitsubishi Diamond Quality and Daikin D1+ partnerships.

We plan installations around a working building, keep disruption to a minimum and leave a clean, tidy finish. Regular maintenance keeps equipment reliable, helps reduce energy use and supports a longer, safer life for the systems in your property.
